Water of Love
High and dry in the long hot day
Lost and lonely in every way
Got the flats all around me sky up above
I need a little water of love
I’ve been too long lonely and my heart feels pain
Crying out for some soothing rain
I believe I have taken enough
I need a little water of love
Water of love deep in the ground
No water here to be found
Some day baby when the river runs free
It’ll carry that water of love to me........
New Years Eve.....time to reflect...
on what was, and what is, and what I would like to be...
So I lay in the burning sun, by this beautiful South Island river
..... and try to connect, with the higher ones....

Lambs and Lovers...
I wake in the morning, and there are always at least two lambs on the deck outside my bedroom doors. We have two of our own, but they appear to have had *relations* visiting for Christmas! This is ok, until Draco Moonboots (pictured above..) decides to try and bullfight with them. We really love them being around though.
Watching Romeo and Juliet..the modern one, the girls got it for Christmas...so far the general view here is *awful* ! Tabitha's production at school was waaaaaaay better!!!
A really neat day..with great company...had a few of those lately, and I ain't complaining :)

I trust.....
..the perfection of the Universe....
and send out love and harmony and peace...and more flowers.....
I have never been in a position in my life before, when I know so very clearly, what I want....
..but I am there now....
So I have to focus....and trust and believe that the Universe will do right by me
....and it ain't as easy as it sounds.....
Flowers....and pink things..
....never been very girly, but maybe it's time I started. I want to be female, I want a Knight to fight my dragons, and I want flowers!!!
These are some of my flowers..the lovely woven grass ones, Pollyanna made me for Christmas...I feel blessed.... flowers and a knight, what more could I ask?
Don't tempt me ;-p
PS. Feminine or not I still refuse to wear murk up....except maybe toenail varnish
..oh and yeah I would love to be painted...but we won't go there just now.....
Yawn......

Christmas on the beach...
..the stuff of all my nitemares!!! But that was before I realised my true birthright...
Hey yeah we did it..
Boxing day at the beach with new friends!
This is Pollyanna, Tom and Mana...just chilling....
The heat of the sand..... the feel of it under my feet, the smell of the pine tree's... sound of the waves..was just awesome!
Maybe I should move here....gypsy soul comes to the fore...I always wanted to be a beach bum when I grew up though....
..the sea was cool but nice, Tabby did some bodysurfing..brave kid o mine!!!
Lovely weather, beautiful place and wonderful company....found some neat stones too....
Now I *am* a Kiwi..but that was never in doubt.......

My Baby is *FIVE* ...
Solstice
The longest day..Summer Solstice, my first in my beloved Kiwiland.
Last year this was the Winter Solstice, but I like it this way round right now!
Went outside this morning and took photo's...not great and this one is full of sunspots *but* I like it this way; anyway my lens hood has disappeared :(
The moon was in the sky too, they looked towards each other and everything felt right with the world......

Pollyanna is 10!!
We have a traditional family birthday cake which I tried hard to create for Pollyanna..but it was a bit difficult, given lack of tins, scales, a strange oven and pure exhaustion! But I tried..it got a bit burnt and fell to pieces but I scraped it together and they enjoyed it!! We were so tired yesterday though that we didn't get to eat it until today!!

Party Remnants
The Magic Fellowship Cloak
Tabitha wearing her magic fellowship cloak in her natural habitat. I had the cloak made here in new Zealand for Tabitha for Christmas. It has now flown all around the globe and is back in beautiful Kiwi land...I am sure this cloak was woven with special magic...after all...at Christmas I had no idea I would ever be here...
The Shire
Today Pollyanna is 10 years old..and jetlag and all, I wanted to do something special. So we went on a tour round the shire...the children are all LOTR fanatics so this was an amazing day!
The guys who took us on the tour were the best...they did everything to make it special and were really totally commited to makiing sure got as much as possible from the day,
Took heaps of photo's :) Above is looking down on the party field.
First bite....
Still feels unreal...

Flora I
Boo in Kiwiland
We Made It....
*HUGE* thanks to the wonderful Air New Zealand and to all of you who sent prayers and good vibes and white light for getting us here safe and sound..we love you all!
The second flight was pretty boring and thankfully the children slept for most of it..I haven't slept for 3 days and nights. I have adrenalin surging through me though so I am ok. We stayed les than an hour in LA as the flight was already late and landed in Auckland around 7.00am I think. I was given Indian Samosa's for breakfast pretty funky really but I didn't feel much like eating at the time.
The guy who saw us through passport control who did our visitors permits etc was wonderful..really friendly and welcoming..he even moved his closed sign so he could see us through! I struggled with the luggage but we managed with the help of a wheelchair and 2 trolleys! Next was the bio security check when all the bags were x-rayed....they were pretty amazed to see tons of books..lego, a computer, a sewing machine..board games etc!! Guy asked if we actually brought any clothes!! Phoebe's buzzy bee wellies had to be taken and sanitised..hadn 't realised they had put those in the case.
When we finally cleared immigration we went into the arrivals lounge and were met by Chris and Gary..friends we had met online in NZ....a big thank myou tom you guys for being there :)
And so at around 8.30am on Saturday February 12th we finally set foot on Kiwiland....and the heat was burning down...and I just feel nlike I am on another planet. All I wanted was a cold pint of lager but t'was not to be had at that hour of the morning..so I settled for a huge chunk of watermelon!!!

Somewhere Over Greenland.....
Wow....this flight is totally awesome so far!
The airport was hard work as we had to repack all the bags to redistribute the weight..in a crowded terminal with 4 kids running wild around us! Lucky for us that Debbo and Dotty were there! It was no mean feat involving unwrapping many yards of Fragile tape and rearranging 10 suitcases!! We made it in the end though. Dotty had to go and Debbo came up with us before we went into departure..it was really sad saying goodbye....we were all crying but it seemed we were surrounded by others crying too. Debbo bought us all little guardian angels and they are doing a great job :)
The moment we got on board almost all fear of flying left and the old excitement returned. I love taking off..feeling that power! I was way more excited than the children..there first flight and they are so laid back..duh!
Boo had the window seat but I have been standing at the back of the plane looking out. Flying over Iceland and then Greenland was fantastic.......seeing all the glaciers and the coastline..*awesome*
Greenland is *HUGE* we were flying at around 900 kilometres an hour and it still semed to stretch on and on...I watched he sunset for what felt like hours and then saw the crescent moon appear right by the wing tip. I realised that it was not going to get dark..and sure enough I saw the dawn sky right next to the sunset...just wild!! I am sure the other passengers thought I was drunk or plain crazy, so much did I flip over this.
Air New Zealand rock..the service is great as are the veggie meals..although the children of course are moaning about it!

Heathrow
This is it...we are about to leave Dotty and Mike's for the airport with Debbo.....taking two cars because of all the children and luggage! Dotty and Mike are wonderful people..they have an amazing Art Deco house and it made for a great last night in England.
Ok folks..wish us luck...send the good vibes to keep that big bird flying......still a bit scared of flying but..hey..bit late flor that now. With all the luggage and children I am not gonna have much time to think about it!
