Blue

Today is coloured blue.... I knew when I first woke the colour of the day, to the exact tone... some days are pink or black... I don't remember ever having a yellow day, white days I have had, and purple days..and red or burnt orange days....

Blue days are emotive, but not really passionate.... they are not so much down days, as contemplative, almost... lost days, nothing really happens... but lots of things hang over the day, like clouds before a storm possibly but with not quite so much tension...

On blue days, tears are really close to the surface, skins are thin and you really don't care too much what you say. Although you are emotionally vulnerable you are somewhat removed from reality, distanced as if by a layer of cotton wool....

These are blue days...

I always love when the Christmas Cactus blooms and the Bottle Brush is such a cool plant, the trail and are amazing when in full flower....

Spiral in a teacup....

I had a cup of tea the other day ("Being Well" herbal, blended locally) ..... and being one for signs and symbols I loved the way the tealeaves settled in the bottom of the cup.....

The spiral is a sign of new beginnings and new hope, also associated with the Koru in NZ which is the new fern leaf uncurling...

The next day I got a new job....!

Floods!!

This was what we drove through this morning on the school run!! It rained very hard all night and sleep was impossible...with howling gales and continual battering on the tin roof... not to mention having to keep going and checking Snoopy our pet rabbit was ok!!!

I am soooooo tired...

Quite exciting driving through the floodstho.. if a little nervewracking in places...

Pink Day....

Odd collection of shots for today....

Firstly breakfast...

I am a convert to Easy-Yo yoghurt making system..love the stuff...and Kiwi Fruits are now about $2 a kilo :)

Today was Breast cancer Awareness day.... good to see lots of people wearing pink!

Met my mate Ian for lunch and then we strolled around town and had fun getting a birthday bag together (with a predominance of pink and sparkly things!!) Then we had coffee with wonderful neck massage in sun... and then the birthday party later... !

Admired new shopping trolleys at Warehouse... very controll(y)able compared to the old metal ones!!!

Kind of a hedonistic day I guess... need more of these....

So quickly gone....

Warm..mellow.....happy..sad kind of day.....

After strange night.....

We walked and played on the beach this afternoon, and stayed until the sun had set....

Maybe.. at the end of the day, when the last rays of the sun have drowned in the sea...
our shadows are all we really have....

Alas poor Pluto....

How could they demote Pluto... that kinda sucks in my book :o(

Anyway I dedicated today to the *Bring Back Pluto* movement.....

I have a *Bring Back Pluto* ring.... and gonna go and boogie all night in Pluto's honour.....

and tomorrow is the *Bring Back Pluto* get together ;o)

Amazing mist this morning..... the day started kind of wet but we went to market

and it got better...and better.....

Saturday... the day after Pluto became a mere *SNOWBALL*
